In the first half of 2017, Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), performed 836 technological connections of consumers with total capacity of 18.2 MW. To provide the technological connections, 3.9 km of 6-10/0.4 kV distribution grids (DG) were built, 0.75 km of 6-10/0.4 kV DG were reconstructed, a series of 6-10/0.4 kV transformer substations were mounted with total capacity of 0.81 MVA, and 0.747 MVA of transformer capacity was put into service.
The major consumers newly connected to the energy facilities of the branch are: industrial yards in Penza on Ryabova Street (1.1 MW), increase of production capacity of Scientific and Production Company Aviametiz, LLC in Penza on Saranskaya Street (0.5 MW), cluster home community in Malaya Valyayevka village of the Penza district (0.5 MW), horticultural cooperatives Dubrava-3 and Astra (0.8 MW), sausage making shop in Srednyaya Elyuzan village (0.27 MW), incubator house in Golitsyno village (0.9 MW), wholesale warehouse in Sazanie settlement (0.6 MW), and others.
Within just six months of 2017, Penzaenergo received 1,138 applications for technological connection to the power grids from consumers. The committed capability amounted to 69.0 MW. During the same period, 953 contracts were signed for technological connection with total contracted capacity of 20.4 MW.
