Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids connect new consumers to its grids

During the first six months of 2017, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids (UDG), a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), connected 440 facilities of its consumers to the grids for the total capacity of 8,460.2 kW. Mostly, these connected facilities are residential buildings, including those in a newly developed suburban locality and the most remote settlements.
New clients of the branch include 345 individuals and 95 legal entities — socially and economically important facilities of the region, industrial and agricultural businesses. This year, the following facilities were connected to the electric grids of the branch: medical and obstetrical stations in the Petrovskoye settlement (Cherdaklinsky district), Gimovo settlement (Maynsky district) and Ryabina station (Radishchevsky district), farms in the Terengulsky and Sursky districts, Beryozovaya Roshcha recreation camp and Ulyot water park (Ulyanovsk), oil wells in Melekessky district, and gardeners' associations in the Staromaysky and Ulyanovsky districts. Strenuous efforts of Ulyanovsk DG related to technological connection of new customers are one of top priority activities contributing to social and economic development of the Ulyanovsk region.
During the first six months of 2017, Ulyanovsk DG received 895 applications for technological connection (for the capacity of 48,937 kW) and signed 721 agreements (for the capacity of 18,275.81 kW). The branch plans to connect the following major facilities over the next year: large-panel house building plant Finans-plyus, LLC (Sengileyevsky district), manufacturer of sand-lime bricks Silikat, LLC (Novospassky district), cement plant Konch tsement Volga, LLC (Terengulsky district), and a residential district in the Lugovoye settlement (Ulyanovsk).
