At the end of April, TEZ-6 completed the capital repair of 6 MW PT-6-35/5M turbine No. 2. Currently, the station is carrying out the capital repair of power boiler No.1.

The boiler’s production rate amounts to 50 t/hour, pressure – 40 atmospheres, heating temperature – 440 degrees. In accordance with AO MOSENERGO’s 2002 program for scheduled repairs the company is carrying out the reconstruction of the boiler’s furnace and installing a new heating regulator. The company also is replacing the boiler’s pipes.

In addition, during the preparation of TEZ-6 for heating season the company will check the condition of the repaired boiler. This will help to assess the reliability of the equipment in the future and ensure the continuous operation during the cold weather season.

To ensure the effective operation of the heating equipment in winter, the company checks and repairs the internal grid facilities, such as grid pumps and boilers. The checks and pipe repairs in Orekhovo-Zuevo region is carried out by a division of Heating Grids.

The program for preparation of power facilities for heating season includes the mandatory check and repair of all electric equipment. In accordance with this requirement AO MOSENERGO tests cable lines leading to transformers and generators at TEZ-6. During these tests the company eliminates all detected breakdowns.

In addition to repairs of the heating and electric equipment, the company uses allocated funds to repair buildings and facilities at the station. In particular, the company repairs roofs and installs new windows at the turbine division.

In total, 31 million rubles have been allocated for repairs of TEZ-6 in 2002/2003. The budget for repairing boiler No.1 equals 7 million rubles.
