Alexander Ananenkov, Acting Chairman of Gazpromís Management Committee conducted today a meeting of Gazpromís Natural Resources and Licensing Central Commission. Attending the meeting were top executives of Gazpromís core business units, Urengoigazprom, Tomskgazprom, Nadymgazprom, Tyumentransgaz and Orenburggazprom.
The Commission moved to continue its work aimed at recovering corporate control over Nortgaz and challenging in court this companyís license (received from Urengoigazprom) to exploit natural resources of the Neocomian sediments of the Severo-Urengoiskoye field.
The Commission also addressed fulfillment of licensing agreements and building up of Nadymgazpromís feedstock base as well as considered the expediency of obtaining licenses to develop the Vostochno-Medvezhye and Sredne-Nadymskoye fields as well as the Pangodinskaya group of fields. The Commission agreed on the need to keep on conducting a feasibility study for said fields development, to explore the matter more scrupulously and re-submit it for the Commissionís reviewal.
After debating the development of the Verkhne-Kondinskoye, Vostochno-Tugrovskoye (Tyumentransgaz) and Rozhdestvenskoye (Orenburggazprom) fields, the Commission considered it expedient to technically develop said fields on a project financing basis.
