The 1st phase of accident consequences elimination was finalized today at the Orenburggazprom Helium Plant.

Under a program developed by a board for the accident consequences elimination, the Orenburggazprom Gas Processing Plant (GPP) is, at present, 100% ready to receive and process raw feedstock. On 24 August, starting 6:00pm, the Orenburggazprom GPP commenced operating its technological facilities.

Gas supply to the Orenburggazprom GPP experienced a shortage on 21 August due to the accident at the Orenburggazprom Helium Plant.

Despite limited supplies of feedstock, the Orenburggazprom GPP kept on channeling gas to the Kargalinskaya and Zainskaya power plants as well as to its own production facilities.
