Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), continues the construction of Stadion 110/10 kV substation, which will be the main source of electricity for Samara Arena Stadium with a capacity of 45,000 seats, sport facilities next to it and the surrounding infrastructure. At present, the installation of power equipment is being carried out in the building of the future substation.
The construction of the main power source for the future stadium in Samara is being carried out at an accelerated pace. The building of the future substation has already been successfully constructed, the interior decoration of the building and installation of equipment are being carried out. Power transformers of 40 MVA each, 110 kV switches, 110 kV current transformers, disconnectors, and ground leads have been installed. Oil receivers, lightning protection and grounding devices have been built. The construction of the Moskovskaya-1 and Moskovskaya-4 110 kV cable lines is in its final stage.
The installation of equipment in the building of the transitional point has been completed. The existing 0.4–10 kV cable lines have been re-installed, the FOLC has been assembled in the section of Solnechnaya 110 kV substation — 110 kV Tomashev Kolok substation, a new support of 110 kV Moskovskaya-1 and Moskovskaya-4 overhead lines has been installed.
All the equipment and materials used in the implementation of the project, are of domestic production, which conforms to the program of import substitution of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and the Samara region Government. The construction of Stadion 110/10 kV substation began in February 2016. This will be a closed-type substation with two 40 MVA transformers. All the equipment will be located in the same building. Overhangs of one circuit of the 110 kV Moskovskaya-1 power transmission line and one circuit of the 110 kV Semeykino-2 transmission line (with the formation of 4 cable OHL) will be organized. The power facility will be put into operation this year.
