OAO LUKOIL Press Service announces that LUKOIL España SL, registered in Madrid in September, 2010, has nothing to do with LUKOIL Group of companies.

OAO LUKOIL and companies of LUKOIL Group did not give any approval for the incorporation of LUKOIL brand into the corporate name of the above company.

Since 1997, OAO LUKOIL obtains international trademark for its brand LUKOIL, registered in all EU countries including Spain.

In order to provide necessary analysis with regard available legal actions, OAO LUKOIL has already engaged the assistance of its Spanish counsels.
