During five months of this year, Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), repaired 74.33 km of power transmission lines of all voltage classes and one hundred and six 6–10/0.4 kV transformer substations, and overhauled five 110/35/10/6 kV substations. In addition, 89.4 ha of rights-of-way were cleared from trees and shrubs.
Totally in 2017, Chuvashenergo will repair 745.8 km of power transmission lines of all voltage classes and four hundred and twenty-two 10/6/0.4 kV transformer substations, and overhaul twenty-one 110/35/10/6 kV substations. The vegetation management activities will cover the area of 460.8 ha.
The repair operations are carried out to ensure appropriate safety of electrical equipment, provision of uninterrupted power supply for consumers in the Chuvash Republic, and prevention of faults and failures of electrical installations.
