Employees of Morodovenergo keep detecting actual thefts of power

The problem relating to thefts of power remains to be relevant for Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group), acting as the holder of the books of electric grids at the major territory of the Republic of Mordovia. Methods of power stealing invented by the consumers made the specialists of the energy sector develop and implement new solutions and technologies preventing possible unrecorded use of electricity. And this struggle has been lasting for many years. Just since the early 2015, doubtful "saving" for more than two hundred consumers using power without records resulted in penalty volumes of power for the amount of about one and a half million rubles. And this is just a small part of citizens "taken red-handed". Moreover, consumers that refused to acknowledge the actual theft were brought to administrative responsibility and paid a fine to the state budget. While using power without records, in case of encounter with inspectors, a household consumer shall be ready to troubles in the form of payment of fine amounting up to 100 thousand rubles. For legal entities, due to higher power tariffs and greater cross section of feeders, the fine for consumption without records may amount to more than 500 thousand rubles.
