Moscow, 27 September 2006. The Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia (FSFM) on 26 September registered the share issues and share placement reports of OAO "Kurgan Generation Company", OAO "Kurgan Trunk Grid Company", and OAO "Kurgan Energy Retail Company" spun off from OAO "Kurganenergo". According to the resolutions authorizing the share issuance, the following amounts of shares were issued:

OAO "Kurgan Generation Company":

• 146,602,782 ordinary shares, par value RUB7.20 per share, for a total value of RUB1,055,540,030.4. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55226-E;
• 14,393,052 Type A preferred shares, par value RUB7.20 per share, for a total value of RUB103,629,974.4. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55226-E.

OAO "Kurgan Trunk Grid Company":

• 146,602,782 ordinary shares, par value RUB2.10 per share, for a total value of RUB307,865,842.2. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55229-E;
• 14,393,052 Type A preferred shares, par value RUB2.10 per share, for a total value of RUB30,225,409.2. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55229-E.

OAO "Kurgan Energy Retail Company":

• 146,602,782 ordinary shares, par value RUB0.10 per share, for a total value of RUB14,660,278.2. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55230-E;
• 14,393,052 Type A preferred shares, par value RUB0.10 per share, for a total value of RUB1,439,305.2. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55230-E.
