June 2, 2017, Federal Test Center (FTC) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL, India) signed Memorandum of understanding within the framework of  the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The document was signed by Senior Advisor of TPDDL Arup Ghosh and Director General of FTC Alexander Duzhinov.

The subject to the Memorandum shall be the scientific and technical understanding between the Parties in the field of development of Smart Grid technologies, Renewables, Energy Efficiency and Conservation. The document foresees participation of TPDDL in the development of R&D and Engineering Center of FTC.  

The Parties expressed their intention to implement the joint R&D Projects in Russia, India and other countries as well as involve TPDDL in the realization of joint programmes regarding development of smart grid technologies.

During the meeting the Parties discussed the possible strategies of partnership relations’ development and agreed to set up the Plan Calendar of joint activities for the implementation of the Memorandum by the end of September of, 2017.
