By the end of the year, the equipment will be delivered to the branches of the united company and put in operation.

The efficiency coefficient of IDGC of North-West's Uniform Presentation Day (CPD), which under the initiative of the company's chief engineer Georgy Turlov and with the assistance of the scientific engineering council was held in August 2009 for the fourth time, appeared to be high enough and may be actually measured.

As many as five participants of the CPD, that is to say domestic enterprises and joint ventures manufacturing products for the fuel and energy complex enterprises, offered their newest samples of products to IDGC of North-West for trial operation for the period of up to three years. The total value of the equipment which up to the end of the year will be already delivered to the branches of the united company exceeds RUR 12 million.

For comparison: the construction of 10 km of 10 kV overhead power line is around RUR 12 million.

According to Alexander Vinogradov, the chief of the department for preparation of specifications of the executive body, a member of the CPD Organizing Committee, the 110 kV vacuum circuit-breaker  will be delivered by NPP "Contact" (Saratov city) to the S-20 (Substation-20) of the "Kolenergo" branch of IDGC of North-West in Nickel city (Murmansk region) already this year.

Another two 35 kV vacuum circuit-breakers, which are produced by OJSC "Taurida Electric" (St. Petersburg city) will also be put into trial operation in the Kola energy supply system. The new equipment will be installed at S-36 in Murmansk.

Digital registrars of failures are an absolutely new device in the Russian market; they will be provided in trial operation to the "Komienergo" objects by American company Qualitrol. The value of the equipment is around RUR 5 million. Two devices will be mounted at the ends of one of the laid 110 kV lines of the Vorkuta Networks of "Komienergo".

The international industrial corporation with participation of American Capital 3Ì which has begun output of light-reflecting markers is ready to equip a new power line with them as an experiment. It was declared by the company's representative during the Uniform Presentation Day. After short consultations, Georgy Turlov suggested the corporation 3Ì that they should mark the "Lyubytino-Rudnichnaya" 110 kV overhead line in the Borovichsky and Ljubytinsky districts of the Novgorod region.

The overhead power line of 32 km in length is planned to be put in operation in October 2009. The "Novgorodenergo's" experts will present a technical project to the 3Ì company in the near future. 

Another pilot project will be carried out in IDGC of North-West up to the end of the year jointly with manufacturers. In "Pskovenergo", "Elektroapparat" company (St. Petersburg city) will transfer for trial operation a new dead tank circuit breaker. The energy facility for installing this equipment on, will be coordinated later.

The presentation of the newest product samples produced by the "Elektroapparat" company has been already included in the program of the fifth CPD which will be held in St. Petersburg at the end of November and will mark a year since the beginning of the IDGC of North-West's project - Uniform Presentation Day.

The Organizing Committee is already receiving offers from Russian and foreign manufacturers.
