Since 2009, 26 units of equipment vehicles for special purposes have been put into operation in the branches of “IDGC of Volga”, JSC. All seven branches of the Company have received new motor vehicles necessary for operation at high-voltage transmission lines and distribution network, i.e. drilling and crane units, a hydraulic ram, a semitrailer, a crane truck, a tractor, motor vehicles for the staff on rotating assignments, UAZ motor vehicles and motor vehicles for emergency brigades. Two acquired transportable substations are equipped with heavy-duty trailers. Formation of an up-to-date vehicle fleet which meets modern requirements to electric power equipment and unit service is one of the priority tasks in the field of logistical support of “IDGC of Volga”, JSC. Procurement meets all the grant procedures stipulated by the laws.
