Orenburg Production Department (PD) of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), embarked on a repair campaign intended to maintain reliability and quality of power supplies to the city of Orenburg and Orenburg district.
The schedule for 2017 includes works at 183 transformer substations. 60 transformers will be delivered to the repair workshop for overhauling. PD's staff is going to repair over 29 kilometers of power transmission lines.
 The repair works will be performed in the following major and minor (pereulok) streets and blocks of Orenburg: Ilekskaya, Desyaty Kvartal, Depovskaya, Metallistov, Sakhalinskaya, Chebenkovskaya, Chkalova, Timiryazeva, Maloleninskaya, Krasnoarmeyskaya, Grigorievskaya, Rybakovskaya, Mayakovskogo, Elektricheskaya, Mayachnaya, Vsesoyuznaya, Parovoznaya, Kislorodnaya, Rozenberga, Shchorsa, Bebelya, Kurochkina, Gaya, Volgogradskaya, Kosmicheskaya, Razdolnaya, Buranny, Khlebny, Solyany, Dmitrievsky, Sredny, Yaroslavsky, Vyazemsky, Aktyubinsky, Sapozhny and Kustarny.
The electric grid repair campaign will be deployed in the following settlements of the Orenburg region: Kholodnye Klyuchi, Chernorechie, Arkhangelovka, Voskresenovka, Priyutovo, Podgornaya Pokrovka, Priuralsky, Nizhnyaya Pavlovka, Ivanovka, Perovsky, Soloviyovka, Zauralny, Yuzhny Ural, Chkalov, Gorny, Sergievka, Nezhinka, Devyatogo Yanvarya, Brodetskoye and Karavanny.
To do that, the repair crews will have to cut off power of residential areas, enterprises and organizations to assure safety of electricians while they work at power transmission lines and in transformer substations. Power engineers will restore power supply by the evening.
The outage schedule for the next month will be published in Selskie Vesti newspaper of the Orenburg district (a branch of State Unitary Enterprise (GUP) Regional Information Agency Orenburzhie).
The repair crews will give a three-day notice of outage date, time and affected streets to the heads of rural administrations. Power outage announcements will be placed on information boards in shops, post offices and rural health centers.
