On October 1, 2004 the presentation of new generation Mi-38 helicopter took place at Kazan Helicopters' facility. The representatives of all project participants attended the presentation: Kazan Helicopters, Euromil, Moscow Mil Helicopter Plant, Pratt&Whitney.  Members of Russian and Tatarstan governments were invited, heads of certification services, potential customers from state and commercial organizations as well. Kazan Helicopters' general director Alexandre Lavrentiev has guided all guests around assembling shop. Then the guests were invited to test-flight station of the plant and the Mi-38 has fulfilled the demonstration flight: hovering, vertical climbs till 20 m, 50 m, two passes at speed of 250 km/h at 5 m altitude. At 5 and 150 m altitudes the Mi-38 has executed so-called "eights", spirals to the left and to the right.  After demonstration flight the press conference took place in assembling shop.  The participant of the conference Prime minister of Tatarstan Minnikhanov R.R., general designer of Moscow Mil Helicopter Plant Samusenko A.G., general director of Euromil Yablokov V.D., general director of Kazan Helicopters Lavrentiev A.P., director of Pratt&Whitney/Russia W.Sidorenko, first vice-chairman of ARMAK Bespalov V.V. have made speeches and answered questions of journalists. In honor of presentation memorable medal is released.
