The event took place at the Olimpiysky complex in Moscow during March 15-18. Today rubber technical articles worldwide turnover amounts to 70 billion dollars. Tires & Rubber, being a traditional exhibition, informs local producers on new trends in this area.

More than 150 leading companies from 20 countries participated in the exhibition. Nizhnekamskneftekhim took part in the event for the sixth time.

The exposition of the company traditionally enjoyed great success with many attendees. All the synthetic rubbers produced at Nizhnekamskneftekhim aroused interest, but special attention was given to new products presented at this exhibition – halogenated butyl rubbers and butadiene rubber PBR Nd based on neodymium catalyst.

Division executives added new commercial orders to the company's portfolio. Vladimir Busygin, Director General, met with representatives from Russian and foreign tire producing companies.

A contest held during the exhibition resulted in two gold medals awarded to Nizhnkamskneftekhim – “For best quality of isoprene rubber” and “For best quality of butyl rubber”.
