Lenta opens its fourth hypermarket in Tyumen

With this opening, Lenta expands its network in Urals to 8 hypermarkets in 5 cities.

St-Petersburg, Russia; 29 April, 2015– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its fourth hypermarket in Tyumen.

The new store is a Lenta compact format hypermarket located in the “Zeleny Bereg” shopping mall at 19 Alebashevskaya Street, Tyumen. The store has a total area of 12,360 sq.m, with 6,414 sq.m of selling space and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 19,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Tyumen and includes Lenta’s private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store has 500 parking spaces and 32 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta.

The opening in Tyumen is Lenta’s fifth hypermarket opening in 2015 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 113 hypermarkets in 63 cities across Russia and 25 supermarkets in the Moscow region.
