Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), embarked on a repair campaign. According to the schedule, 35 substations of different voltage class will be repaired during the second quarter of 2017: three 110/35/10 kV substations, sixteen 110/10 kV substations, one 110/6 kV substation, and fifteen 35/10 kV substations. The repair campaign also covers 226 transformer substations (10/0.4 kV), 19 power transformers (10/0.4 kV) and 35–110 kV power transmission lines with the total length of 119 km. Works scheduled for June also include replacement of 6.5 km of 0.4–10 kV non-insulated bushings at transformer substations of Mordovian settlements with shielded wire overhead lines — a solution aimed to improve operational reliability and reduce unplanned outages. The campaign also includes vegetation management activities. The repair crews will work at the following power transmission lines: 110 kV Zhemchug–Novoselsk, 110 kV Alekseyevka–Medayevo, 110 kV Vostochnaya–Yelkhovka, 110 kV Kochelayevo–Moksha, 110 kV LAL-Yugo-Zapadnaya, 110 kV Moksha–Insar, 110 kV Ruzayevka–Yugo-Zapadnaya, 110 kV Krasnoslobodsk–Radio Center No. 9, 110 kV Potma–Vad, 110 kV Tyoply Stan–Kustarevka, 35 kV Alasheyevka–Dyurki, 35 kV Ardatov–Oktyabrskaya, 35 kV Parakino–Shugurovo, 35 kV Dubenki–Kabayevo, 35 kV Dubenki–Krasino, 35 kV B.Demyanovsk–Achadovo, 35 kV Atyashevo–Alasheyevka, 35 kV Berezniki–Picheury, 35 kV Kochkurovo–Goryanovka, 35 kV Krasnaya Rudnya–Lemdyasky Maydan, and 35 kV Meltsany–Avgury. Measures of the repair campaign are a necessary part of preparation of electric equipment and power facilities for the 2017/2018 peak load autumn-winter period.
