Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, is implementing the next stage of modernization of Tatishchevo 110/35/10 kV substation. The substation plays a significant role in providing reliable power supply to the right-bank areas of the Saratov region and major consumers and the population of the Saratov, Tatishchevsky and Atkarsky districts.
In the process of modernization, power engineers have mounted a new power transformer 110/35/10 kV with capacity of 25 MVA, sectional 110 kV outdoor switchgear of five SF6 circuit breakers with disconnecting switches of remote control, overvoltage suppressors, current transformers, and 110 kV voltage transformers, and constructed a new modular building of operations control room, where automatic equipment protection and substation control panels are mounted with their support systems.
All installed equipment is manufactured in domestic enterprises and is in line with the world standards. In the current year, the construction of 110 kV switchgear is to be further developed to connect the newly installed additional power transformer to 110/10/10 kV with capacity of 25 mVA.
The completion of Tatishchevo 110/35/10 kV substation modernization will improve the reliability of the power supply to consumers, reduce the operating cost of electrical equipment, create a capacity reserve to continue technological connection to the electricity grids of new consumers, and provide conditions for the growth of useful power supply.
