Gazkomplektimpex signed protocols with the winners of the first free single stage tenders without preliminary selection. The winners have the right to sign contracts for delivery of gas pumping units of 4, 10, and 25 MWt.

Gazkomplektimpex's tender commission made the decision on selecting the winners. They include:

• Gaztekhkomplekt Trading House, the city of Novosibirsk, Russia, which won the right to a supply contract for six gas pumping units. The units are modulus, powered by a gas turbine light industrial engine of 4 MWt;
• GPA Systema Trading House, the city of Gorno-Altaisk, Russia, which won the right to a supply contract of four self contained gas pumping units powered by an aviation type gas turbine engine of 10 MWt;
• M.V. Frunze Sumskoye Machine Building Scientific and Industrial Company, the city of Sumi, Ukraine, which won the right to a supply contract for three self contained gas pumping units powered by an aviation type gas turbine engine of 25 MWt.

Currently the schedule of Gazkomplektimpex's tenders for the fourth quarter of 2004 and 2005 is being finalized. The tenders will be held on a regular basis starting from the second half of October 2004.

In order to improve the information transparency of tenders, the tender notices by Gazkomplektimpex will be published in the Tenders information and analytical bulletin and simultaneously posted in Gazprom internet site in Subsidiary Companies section, notice board sub-section.

Gazkomplektimpex initiated tenders right after Gazprom Board of Directors approved in July 2004 The terms of tenders for placing orders on goods and services supply for Gazprom and its subsidiaries.

Gazkomplektimpex is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom. Soyuzgazkomplekt, the state corporation responsible for centralized materials and equipment supply for gas and oil industry, was incorporated in 1964. In 1991, it was reorganized into Gazkomplektimpex, a state industrial and commercial corporation. In 1999, it became Gazkomplektimpex limited liability company.
