Since the start of 2004, power stations of Mosenergo have generated 51.4 bn kWt-h of electricity. During the first nine months of 2004, power consumption by Mosenergo’s own consumers exceeded last year levels by 4.0% mostly due to an increase among non-industrial and budgetary consumers. In order to meet the power demand, Mosenergo has purchased 6.3 bn kWt-h of electricity at the wholesale market.

During the first 9 months of 2004, Mosenergo’s CHPs supplied 46.2 Gcal of heat which is 6.8% lower compared to last year, due to warmer weather conditions.

The total 9 month sales (excluding VAT) amounted to 59.9 bn rubles. The supply grew due to the increase in average tariffs as well as to the higher electricity tariffs, as well as effective supplies of electricity. The net year-on-year increase in effective supplies amounted to 10.8 bn rubles (almost 22.8%).

Since the beginning of 2004, the receivables of power consumers (taking into accounts wholesale supplies) increased 43% to 4.8 bn rubles due to higher debts of electricity resellers. At the same time, debts of heat consumers were reduced by 69.7%.
