“Arguments and Facts-Saratov” weekly paper has summed up the results of the “Year Leader – 2017” contest. The paper readers were of an opinion that according to the results of 2017 IDGC of Volga, PJSC, a member of Rosseti Group was the best electric power enterprise for ensuring reliable power supply of Saratov region.

Throughout the previous year, “AiF-Saratov” was publishing materials on different enterprises in the field of economy, industry and agriculture. The weekly paper readers and its website users voted for the most worthful organization, from their point of view. For a number of years, IDGC of Volga has been obtaining the most votes in the relevant category.

 Successful passing of the autumn-winter period was the confirmation of the company’s leading position in the regional electric power industry. In spite of the complicated weather conditions, Saratov region has been under over the past months, power engineers of IDGC of Volga managed to restore power supply of consumers in the districts that have most severely suffered from winter disaster promptly and effectively.

 Power supply reliability is the result of the preliminary intensified preparation for the autumn and winter session. For instance, 2017 repair program was completed as scheduled and in full. The power engineers were fully provided with the emergency reserve of materials and equipment, as well as with the emergency power supplies of 30 kV and more with a total power of 10.3 MW to promptly restore power supply of the socially important facilities.

IDGC of Volga, PJSC not only provides for non-stop power supply of consumers but also constantly improves its operation efficiency by reducing power losses. The company activities were praised by the experts of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. In the grid companies rating developed by the agency experts, out of 90 Russian largest grid companies, the branches of IDGC of Volga were included into the Top-15 companies with the most outstanding figure on reduction of losses in electric grids, which is one of the basic indicators. According to the results of the year, the Company’s general economic benefit has come to 88.5 mln kWh for the total amount of over 268 mln. rubles.

 Now IDGC of Volga is planning to implement the plans of Rosseti, PJSC focused on digitalization of the grid complex. The Company continues to introduce innovative equipment, materials and technologies, which in the long view will make it possible to finally switch to digital grids, thus enhancing reliable power supply of consumers.
