Mordovenergo branch continues implementation of repair program

Power engineers of Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), take an active part in the repair campaign.

According to the schedule, 16 substations of different voltage class will be repaired this year: They include 1 substation of 110/35/10 kV, 1 substation of 110/35/6 kV, 4 substations of 110/10 kV, 3 substations of 110/6 kV and 7 substations of 35/10 kV. Repair operations will be held at 137 transformer substations (10/0.4 kV), 6 power substations (10/0.4 kV) and 35-110 kV overhead transmission lines with the total length of 60.2 km. Works scheduled for June also include replacement of 7.6 km of 0.4-10 kV non-insulated bushings with insulated wire at transformer substations of Mordovian settlements for OHL with shielded wires — a solution aimed to improve operational reliability and reduce unplanned outages.

Forrest corridors are actively being cleared and widened. It is planned to treat an area of over 144 ha by the end of June. The crews are working at 110 kV Umys-Zhurlovka overhead line, 110 kV Medaevo-Parakino overhead line, 110 kV Atyashevo-Sarast overhead line, 110 kV Potma-Tepl. Stan overhead line, 110 kV Potma-Vad overhead line, 110 kV Sosnovka-Udarny overhead line, 35 kV Kozlovka-B.Syresi overhead line, 35 kV Khovanshchina–Shishkeevo overhead line, 35 kV Nizovka-Dyurki overhead line.

Measures of the repair campaign are a necessary part of preparation of electric equipment and power facilities for the 2016/2017 peak load autumn-winter period.
