Award decision was made by organizational committee of International Forum 'International Experience and Economics of Russia', which within more than 10 years encourages eminent organizers of industrial production, education, science and technologies, communications and computerization.
For effective activity aimed to strenghen economic power of Russia, excellent business reputation and great professionalism, archievement of high production results 30 chief heads of Russian companies and organizations were awarded with this elite title. The awarding ceremony took place last week in Moscow, Colonniy Hall, Dom Soyuzov, during regular International Forum meeting.
 
Barantsev Alexey Georgievitch was born 1959. Graduated from Metallurgy Faculty of Irkutsk Politechnical Institute. Since 2002 - JSC 'GAZ' director general. After Alexey Barantsev coming to JSC 'GAZ' new positive trends began to appear immediately. New product quality improvement policy was developed, flexible technological processes were adopted , the most important inculcation was a new GAZ system of production.
Gorky Automobile Plant has become the first Russian company which introduced a new manufacture system of labour organization adopted in big automotive compaies worldwide. The kernel of a new production system is to produce more quality goods taking less costs and effort, change people's sense of life and get them interested in getting quality results from their work.
In short period of time the following projects have been implemented without productive line interruption: 'GAZelle' and 'Sobol' family restyling, passenger car 'Volga' modernization, new robot lines introduction. Preparation of manufacture of ' Tiger' vehicle and medium tonnage town type van 'Valdai' is in process. Recently, manufacture of a wide range of special purpose vehicles has been developed to meet the needs of small and big business.
