The Gazprom Headquarters today has hosted a meeting focused on issues surrounding the completion of a high pressure gas pipeline and its extension to the town of Mirny, settlement of Plesetsk and Plesetsk Cosmodrome.
Moderated by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, the meeting was attended by Nikolai Kiselyov, Governor of the Arkhangelsk Oblast, top managers from Mezhregiongaz and Severgazprom, core business units of Gazprom.
The meeting adopted a decision to complete the construction of gas pipelines and gasification facilities needed for the supply of gas to the town of Mirny, settlement of Plesetsk and Plesetsk Cosmodrome in November of this year.

The high pressure gas pipeline to the town of Mirny, settlement of Plesetsk and Plesetsk Cosmodrome will have more than 370 km and 3.3 bcm/y in length and full capacity, respectively. This line is part of a high pressure gas pipeline project for the cities of Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk.
The line extension to the town of Mirny, settlement of Plesetsk and Plesetsk Cosmodrome will stretch for about 5 km. Moreover, Gazprom will finance the construction of low pressure networks having a total length of 25 km.
