Commissioning works have begun at PP Plant of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc. Flushing and hydraulic tests on vessels and piping, running-in of electrical equipment, tests of safety valves, inspection of block valves etc. are in process.

A detailed analysis of performed work and forthcoming pre-commissioning activities was made at a meeting held on August, 8 headed by V.Busygin, Director General of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc. Along with civil, installation and operation engineers this meeting was attended by leading specialists and managers from operating plants of the company. By tradition established at the company they supervise the plant to be commissioned.

Start-up of polypropylene plant with the capacity of 180,000 t/y is scheduled for September this year.
