To date 85 % of capital investments have been realized at the construction site, where Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc. is installing GTU-75 gas turbine unit within the framework of joint reconstruction of Nizhnekamsk Thermal Power Station.

All the imported equipment (gas turbines, generators, compressors) has been mounted on the foundation and its piping is being prepared. Russian made waste-heat boilers and steelwork of main pipe rack for entire station have been installed. The building with turbines and waste-heat boilers is completely sealed. Soft roofing and chimneys are being installed.

The completion of the main civil and installation works is expected by the end of September. Then the commissioning will follow. Start-up of the unit is scheduled for November this year.
