The Gazprom Headquarters has hosted a session of the Central Commission for Subsurface Use and Licensing Management. The session was moderated by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.

The participants emphasized that Gazprom systematically placed a focus on promoting rational subsurface use and building up the hydrocarbon resource base.

The session also explored the viability of obtaining upstream licenses for fields and prospects in the Caspian and Okhotsk Seas offshore, Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya) and Orenburg Oblast.
