Samara distribution grids will supply power to Pestravka butter maker

Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, JSC), will connect a milk processing workshop of one of the largest dairies of the region, Pestravsky Butter Plant, LLC, to its power grids. Due to the capacity of over 1.2 MW received as a result of the technological connection, the consumer will be able to expand and boost the dairy production in the Samara region.
A new workshop of the butter plant will be connected to 110 kV Pestravka substation. According to the agreed specifications, the existing package transformer substations will be replaced with four cutting-edge substations with the capacity of 630 kVA. The installation of power grid facilities will be followed by necessary startup and commissioning operations. The new facility will be energized by applying the voltage within the range of declared capacity. The facility will be connected to SDG's grids this year.
The development of dairy production is one of top priorities of the region. Every year, the Governor of the Samara region N. I. Merkushin encourages the legislative and executive bodies, local municipal administrations and manufacturers of agricultural products to boost livestock output, improve the quality of products and ensure food security both of the country and region. Samara Distribution Grids is ready to render all possible assistance to farms. Besides, consideration of electric grid construction projects for technological connection of agroindustrial complex facilities is a priority for inclusion in the investment program of the branch.
The technological connection to power grids is one of core activities of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. In all regions covered by the Company's operation there are customer service centers. The consumers may create personal accounts at the Company's official website (www.mrsk-volgi.ru) to submit a request for technological connection and other services.
