Saratov Museum of Labour Glory on the Sokolovaya mountain hosted a solemn prize-giving ceremony for winners of the “2016 Leader of the Year” contest initiated by “Argumenty i fakty — Saratov” weekly newspaper. The reader's jury named IDGC of Volga, PJSC number one energy-sector company of the Saratov region in terms of reliability and fail-safety of power supplies according to the results of 2016. 
Over the last year, the newspaper was publishing articles on players in economic, industrial and agricultural sectors. And the readers of the newspaper and AiF — Saratov website voted for their favorite organization. It is not for the first time that IDGC of Volga, PJSC ranks number one in its category.
In 2016, IDGC of Volga, PJSC pursued its campaign aiming at trouble-free operation and development of the large-scale electric grid facilities. 
The Company put into service 586.5 km of power transmission lines and 177.11 MVA of transformer capacity during that period. The successful operation during the autumn and winter season was an evidence of overall reliability of the distribution grid complex even in adverse weather conditions. The total effect of the 2016 energy loss reduction campaign amounted to 73.34 M kWh. The Company struggles to improve its customer focus. Time and cost of the technological connection was reduced due to the increased involvement of Company's own resources (up to 70 %), and the Offer period was cut to 9 days.
