OJSC Central Telegraph lowers its tariffs

One of the largest telecom operators in the Moscow region, OJSC Central Telegraph, officially announced additional tariff reduction measures.  The company will be reducing the cost of calls made to Armenia (city of Yerevan) using IP telephony.

As of March 18, 2002 calling card traffic to Yerevan will cost Rub 5.26 including VAT and the sales tax, and Rub 7.80 to all other cities in Armenia, tax inclusive.

In order to keep phone rates down the Central Telegraph also plans to launch IP telephony with other CIS countries.
