On September, 30th 2004, the traditional regional workmanship competition among cable jointers and communication erectors and Jointers of the enterprises of the RF Northwestern Federal District will be held.

The competition is held with the view of improving professional skills, developing creative activity, finding and distributing advanced techniques and methods of work, making the workers’ professions more prestigious and enhancing the motivation of the personnel of telecommunication companies. 

This year 21 attendants will take part in the competition – workers of all the 8 branches of North-West Telecom JSC, as well as representatives of Peterstar CJSC, Lensvyaz JSC and Lentelefonstroy JSC.

The event has been organized by North-West Telecom JSC, Lentelefonstroy JSC and the St. Petersburg Centre of Elektrosvyazi.

The Organizing committee of the competition is headed by O.A. Semanov, Deputy General Manager – Strategic Development and Technological Policy director of North-West Telecom JSC; the Jury is headed by V.Sh. Detinko, First Deputy General Manager of Lentelefonstroy JSC.

The companies Neva-Kabel, Alstrim, Teletechno, ZM, Connect and Raichem are the sponsors of the Regional workmanship competition among cable jointers and communication erectors and jointers.
