Standard forms of documents dealing with issues related to construction and operation of fiber optic communication lines deployed at power industry facilities have been approved of and enacted within IDGC of the North-West.
IDGC of the North-West, JSC is creating a center for competence and coordination of activities in connection with issues related to construction of fiber optic communication lines deployed at power industry facilities. An order to the effect was signed by Sergey Titov, General Director of the Company. The functions of the Company’s center for competence and coordination of activities in connection with issues related to construction of fiber optic communication lines on overhead transmission lines have been vested in the Information Technologies Department of the Executive Staff of IDGC of the North-West.

Construction and usage of fiber optic communication lines deployed at power industry facilities enables IDGC of the North-West to enhance the grid controllability and observability, develop the existing corporate services and to adopt new ones.
