Moscow, Russia – March 23, 2004 – Pharmacy Chain 36.6 [MICEX: RU14APTK1007; RTS Board: APTK] today announced the appointment of Mr. Svein Aage Olsen as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Mr. Svein Aage Olsen has extensive experience of top level general and financial management at leading multinational and Russian institutions, including CFO and Vice-President positions at Comincom-Combellga, an alternative telecommunications provider in Moscow; the position of CFO in Kyivstar GSM, a Ukrainian GSM operator; and the post of Deputy Director of Eastern European Region at Telenor ASA, the Norwegian telecommunications incumbent, being responsible for international business development and acquisitions integration management, mainly in CIS.
Mr. Olsen started his working career in 1993 as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Scandinavia. He’s got a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, Bergen, Norway.
Pharmacy Chain’s 36.6 CEO, Artem Bektemirov, said: “Mr. Olsen’s joining the Company is in line with the current objectives of Pharmacy Chain’s 36.6. An aggressive regional expansion requires stricter control on expenses and investments.”
