IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) summed up the contest launched to assess the technical and aesthetic condition of 110 kV overhead transmission lines (OHL). The competition was held to improve the efficiency and quality of maintenance of the 110 kV overhead lines.
When summarizing the results of the competition, the commission noted the good technical condition of the overhead line, the absence of tree-shrub vegetation along the power transmission lines. Currently, a process of large-scale equipping of overhead lines with bird-scaring devices is going on in order to strike the ecological balance and reduce the number of outages of overhead lines. Within the framework of the competition between the branches of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, an exchange of experience in using modern materials takes place.
By the decision of the contest commission of IDGC of Volga, PJSC the first place was awarded to 110 kV Gorny – Yershov OHL (the section of Yershov – Yemelyanovka, Saratov Distribution Grids). The second place is occupied by ToAZ-6 (Samara DG), the third — by Buzulukskaya – Promyslovaya 1,2 (Orenburgenergo).
In order to nail down the positive trends, a decision was made to hold in IDGC of Volga, PJSC in 2017 another competition for the best technical and aesthetic state of overhead transmission lines with a voltage of 110 kV.
