By February 13, OAO Airport Bykovo paid 700,800 rubles—exactly the amount owed to AO MOSENERGO for electricity consumed in January. Thus, the airport has fully redeemed its debt to the power company.
It was announced on Friday, February 8, that Energosbyt, the sales branch of AO MOSENERGO, had advised the airport in writing that one of the two main feeders supplying the airport with electric power would be turned off on February 13. All airport facilities including air terminal, telephone station, parking and fueling facilities, personnel premises, warehouses and the training base would be switched to one remaining feeder.
Bykovo airport has now agreed to pay for electric power in a timelier manner.
