The Consumer Service Center (CSC) of Mordovenergo, which is a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a part of Rosseti Group), has summarized the work in 2017. Over the said period, 3,386 petitions on different issues, of which 2,069 are the technical connection applications, have been filed with CSC. As to the number of the applications filed, the activity of individuals with 1,485 applications prevails.
In 2017, 1,930 agreements for technical connection (subject to the applications received in 2016) for the total power of 51 MW were entered into. As regards the power declared, the majority of consumer petitions relate to such industries as agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish breeding, wholesale and retail trade, information and communication activities. A great number of applications for connecting to the street lamps was received from the administrations of municipal districts and rural settlements.
As compared to 2016, the number of actual connections in 2017 increased from 1,775 to 2,743. The aggregate power was nearly 72 MW.
