Inspection check-up teams of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (member of Rosseti Group) are carrying on their activities. 19 cases of unregistered power consumption were found in January 2018. The volume of the illegally consumed electric power made 198,890 kWh. 6 facts of non-contractual consumption for the amount of 112,090 rubles were also registered.

Notifications were forwarded to the law-enforcement bodies in respect of all cases of unlawful power consumption detected in Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg, Penza regions, in Republic of Mordovia and in Chuvash Republic. In Orenburg region, three court judgements for the unregistered power consumption were made in relation to the notifications that were prepared following the performance results of inspection check-up teams of IDGC of Volga, PJSC.

The case files were submitted to the law-enforcement authorities in November 2017. In accordance with article 7.19 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation, the “electric power thieves” were fined 10,000 rubles each. In Ulyanovsk region, the court has made a judgement on imposition of administrative sanctions on a consumer involved in the unregistered power consumption. The magistrate judge has imposed a fine in the amount of 10,000 rubles. A

n administrative case for the unregistered power consumption was initiated against another resident of the region who is an individual entrepreneur from Nikolaevsky district. In Chuvash Republic, the ruling on the imposition of administrative sanctions was also handed down in respect of an individual for the unregistered power consumption.
