Komienergo Deputy General Director for Capital Construction Dmitry Vylegzhanin, “The southern districts of the republic must have a “margin of safety” of electric power supply by winter”

A working session dedicated to issues related to construction of “Sokolovka-Pazhga” 110 kV line took place in Syktyvkar, at the building occupied by the Management Staff of Komienergo branch of IDGC of the North-West. The session was moderated by Komienergo Deputy General Director for Capital Construction Dmitry Vylegzhanin. In May the works performance plan was elaborated and preparatory measures taken (the facility insurance, supply contracts conclusion). The line construction will commence in June after the equipment procurement is over, the poles and fittings delivered from the manufacturer plant.  The contractors promise to install 3–4 faceted metal poles daily. The power industry facility is to be commissioned by the end of October, this year.

The construction of “Sokolovka-Pazhga” line is a priority project on the investment program of IDGC of the North-West and IDGC Holding. Three-level control will be exercised of the line construction with the help of a project management system using Primavera software product. Construction of “Sokolovka-Pazhga” overhead line represents the first stage in implementation of a large-scale investment project of Komienergo aimed at enhancement of reliability of consumer electric power supply in the Sysolsky, Priluzsky and Koygorodsky Districts of Komi Republic. The project has priority importance regionally and is included in the Komi Republic Power Industry Development Program for 2011–2015.
