OJSC “Bashkirenergo” started reconstruction of the largest boiler house of Ufa

The Bashkir distribution grids (subsidiary of OJSC “Bashkirenergo”) started reconstruction of equipment at the largest boiler-house of Ufa city - BH-1, located at Ibragimova Boulevard

The capacity of launching pipeline which delivers heat-transfer fluid from the steam shop to the heating main (HM-1) and further to the regional thermal grids for warming and hot water supply of the consumers will be increased within one month. In the course of modernization the present pipeline with diameter of 700 mm will be replaced by a modern pipeline with diameter of 800 mm. Isolation valves, mud filter and other equipment necessary for work of the modernized pipeline will be also replaced. All works are carried out on the segment of 50 meters length.

The heating main HM-1 supplies heat to the major part of the capital’s south. Residential area for thousands of people, large enterprises and companies such as publishing house, central market, Ufa state aircraft and technical university, bazaar and other are among the consumers supplied by the boiler-house. Capacity extension was conditioned by increase of heat consumption due to active development of this part of the city. Modernization will ensure steady heating supply of existing buildings and projects under construction.

The redundant circuit will be involved for the purpose to supply consumers with heat to the full extent during the course of reconstruction.

The estimate cost of the pipeline’s diameter enlargement is RUB 7 million. OJSC “BashRTS” planned to spend about RUB 326 million on investment projects in 2012. Among the largest projects included into the investment plan are the following: pipeline enlargement at Ufimskaya TPP-2, construct completion of block-modular stem house located in “Uruzan” district of UFA, construction of pipeline between two boiler houses located at Mettalistov St., 28 and Letchikov str., 1/1 in “Zaton” district, reconstruction of steam pipe at Ufimskaya TPP-2.
