The largest Russian airline company Aeroflot-Russian Airlines participates in the 10^th anniversary tourist exhibition “Leisure” that is to take place in Moscow in Olympiisky Complex from September 22, 2004, to September 25, 2004. This year Aeroflot has one of the largest expositions and acts as a general partner of this exhibition, a traditional place for promotion actions and presentations of new service programs for passengers.

On Aeroflot stand D5 Aeroflot Junior programs will be demonstrated to participants and guests, they will see also new passenger seats, new brand elements, new meals aboard, a lottery will be drawn. All the exhibition guests will have an opportunity to get answers to all their questions on Aeroflot activity, get acquainted with the terms of a traditional action on special air fares “Autumn Again… Dreams Come True”. Recently Aeroflot has started improving service quality and providing maximum comfort for business class passengers. In this respect it launched several innovative programs in the sphere of service, meals aboard, passengers’ loyalty increase.

As it was earlier reported Distinguishing features of Aeroflot “new service” are individual treatment of each passenger, providing meals according to the menu and using chinaware, diversity of dishes during the flight taking into account time of the day; dish is served directly before it is offered to the passenger. High class passengers on flights to New York, Los Angeles, Vienna, Brussels, Munich, Helsinki, Hong Kong, and Tokyoare serviced now according to the program “Russian hospitality with best traditions and modern way of life”. Soon this new standard is to be introduced for other regular Aeroflot flights.

Besides, unlike most European airline companies which have modified seats-transformers limited from the viewpoint of convenience in business class of Airbus A319/320 type liners Aeroflot business class is supplied with full seats with the distance between the seats of 38 inches (96.5 cm) and width of 28 inches (71 cm) as for long distance flights.

All this provided the airline company’s capacity increase in high classes for flights to Europe, USAand Japan.

Aeroflot–Russian Airlines (RTS: AFLT) is the largest Russian Company. The state owns 51 per cent of its stocks. It was established in 1923. It controls 11 per cent of home and 39 per cent of international market of air carriages of Russia. According to RAP net income amounted to 3 978 million rubles in 2003. In 2003 Aeroflot transported 5.9 million passengers. There are 92 airliners in its fleet. Its headquarter is located in Moscowin SheremetyevoAirport.
