The reconstruction of the second start-up complex of substation “Centralnaya” was made within the period from 1st of July of 2009 till the 30th of June of 2010.

On July 1 of 2010 110/10/6 kv substation “Centralnaya” of branch of IDGC of North-West, JSC “Vologdaenergo” is fully introduced into service. On finding of the Northern administration of the Russian Technical Supervisory Authority which inspected the power facility, 110/10/6 kv substation “Centralnaya” of the grid company fully corresponds to the technical specifications, requirements of project documentation, normative and technical documents and admitted to operation.

We would like to remind that the second start-up complex’s reconstruction of substation “Centralnaya” was made within the period from July 1 of 2009 to June 30 of 2010. Within this time the works on change of two power transformers with the total capacity of 80 MVA are made at the power facility and also new equipment is installed.

Substation “Centralnaya” provides electric power supply of Vologda city’s central part. The power installation’s introduction into service will make it possible to connect new consumers among which there are administrative, finance institutions, trade enterprises, social sphere’s objects and also will increase significantly power supply reliability of consumers.
