Oleg Budargin, General Director of PJSC “Rosseti”, paid a working visit to Krasnoyarsk where he met Viktor Tolokonsky, Governor of the Region. During the meeting parties discussed power grip development issues in Krasnoyarsk Region, new consumers’ integration and the company's contribution in the upcoming Universiade 2019.

Particularly, the next practical steps were decide on to comply with provisions agreed under Cooperation Agreement signed between PJSC "MRSK of Siberia" (which is a part of Rosseti Group) and Viktor Tolokonsky, Governor of the Region in December 2016. The agreement aims to ensure reliable and continuous power supply to consumers in the region, preventing situations that might lead to critical systems failure, as well as to change approach to tariff regulation.

The agreement allows State authorities of the region and the largest network company in Siberia to reach compromise, and not only to maintain regional energy infrastructure in good conditions, but also ensure the long-term investment program implementation. Its main priority in the immediate future is to develop regional capital’s energy infrastructure in preparation for Winter Universiade 2019. Worldwide Sports Events Work Committee has approved a list of 34 power facility projects required to ensure reliable and continuous power supply of the venues throughout Universiade 2019. Responsibilities of KrasnoyarskEnergo includes: technological interconnection and re-equipment of the seven existing grid facilities together with already scheduled reconstruction of multiply 10/6/0.4 kV transformer substations, 10/6/0.4 kV cable lines and 110 kV power centers.

The Head of PJSC "Rosseti" emphasize that the company has an extremely important task and plans to undertake it with great responsibility, intending to use the past experience with Olympic Facilities preparation in Sochi.

Victor Tolokonsky thanked the personnel of PJSC “MRSK of Siberia” and KrasnoyarskEnergo for their competence in ensuring critical systems stable functioning during this winter season.

"We see a great potential in this collaboration”, said the Head of the Region adding that – “we currently observe an acceleration of Residential Construction in Krasnoyarsk, industrial parks revival. Moreover, there is a global program for infrastructure improvement and renewal in the regional capital which is due very soon.” Naturally, company’s latest technology will be widely used at all Universiade 2019 venues. The event itself will promote developments in hotel business, tourism, trade and services. Energy consumption in the region will only grow from now on.”

During his business trip to Krasnoyarsk Oleg Budargin also visited PJSC "MRSK of Siberia" Head Office where he met with the company’s Management.
