Moscow. 16 July 2007. The overall trading volume in the B2B-energo, the e-commerce system used by companies of RAO "UES of Russia" Holding Company in their procurement activities, has exceeded RUB100 billion.

Over the period of less than five years, more than 9,850 tenders and auctions have been held on the e-trading floor, with more than 27,390 bids and offers submitted through the system. Currently, the system is used by most suppliers of RAO "UES of Russia" (over 11,100 entities from 42 countries).

B2B-users can simultaneously take part in more than 820 online public tenders and auctions.

B2B-energo has grown in importance after the launch of the five-year RAO UES Investment Programme. Large-scale e-tender procurement of works and services to design, construct, and equip energy facilities on a turnkey basis provide maximum transparency and non-discriminatory access to the system for all suppliers while optimizing the cost of goods and services procured.
