The program includes the repair of electric grid facilities of all voltage classes, which will enable to provide a higher-quality maintenance of the equipment, to reduce the risk of technological failures, as well as to prepare the branch for the future autumn-winter period.

Within the 2017 repair program, the Company plans to repair over 1,500 km of 35–110 kV transmission lines and more than 2,000 km of power lines in the distribution grids. The plan of the annual repair campaign also includes 55 substations of 35–110 kV and 1,014 transformer substations. On the power facilities 396 switches, 361 disconnecting switches, 41 breaker-isolating and short-circuiting switches will be repaired; 202 stick-pedestal insulators will be replaced. The capital repair will be held at 110 kV Portovaya, Sadgorod, Chelnovershinskaya and Zhigulyovskaya substations. On the overhead lines of 110 kV Promyshlennaya–1, 2, Sernovodskaya–1, 2, Tolevaya–1, 2 substations, defective insulators as well as vibration dampers on the wires and grounding wires will be replaced, and bird-scaring devices will be installed. Besides, vegetation management works will be conducted along 990 km of OH transmission lines.

At the same time, in the framework of the repair program the preparation of the electric facilities of Samara Distribution Grids for the 2018 FIFA World Cup will continue: the capital repair and current maintenance of transformer substations will be performed in the territory of the urban district of Samara (Zavodskaya–1, ATD, Tsentralnaya–3, Gorodskaya–3, Klinicheskaya); the paint-works of supports, replacement of insulators and vegetation management of OHL in the urban areas, as well as the works on the area improvement of the power facilities will be carried out. All scheduled repair works will be completed by the end of September.

The annual series of measures aimed at the repair and replacement of electrical equipment is a priority for Samara Distribution Grids. Quality and full implementation of the repair program enables to ensure regular operation of power facilities, reduce technical obsolescence of equipment and provide reliable and quality power supply to consumers.
