Background
Gazprom and the Perm Territory Administration are the parties to the Cooperation Agreement and the Gasification Accord.
Gazprom signed roadmaps with the Voronezh, Omsk and Tomsk Regions as regards wider use of know-how, products and services of local sci-tech enterprises for the Company's needs. The roadmaps are signed as part of the import substitution program and are aimed at cost reduction among other things.
According to the documents, research organizations and industrial enterprises of the regions will prepare proposals to form a list of top-priority equipment, materials and know-how of potential interest to Gazprom. Later on, production prototypes will be tested and certified for compliance with the Company's requirements. Equipment, materials and know-how finally chosen by Gazprom, will be used in design, construction and repair of its industrial facilities.
