The CEO of the OJSC North-West Telecom is rated among the 100 best top-managers of St.-Petersburg

“Delovoy Peterburg” has rated Vladimir Akulich, the CEO of the OJSC North-West Telecom, among the 100 best top-managers of St.-Petersburg

The official award ceremony took place on 20 November 2008 at the Leningrad restaurant. Vladimir Akulich was presented with a diploma “Top-100. The Best Managers in St.-Petersburg and the Leningrad Region" in the category "Internet Services".

The annual award Top-100 presented by the “Delovoy Peterburg” has long become a traditional highlight of the business life of the Northern Capital. For 5 years the editorial board and members of the Expert Council have been selecting the most dynamic industries of the city economics.   This year the Expert council which consisted of 16 established experts in various business areas identified the best managers in 90 industries. The best managers in 10 more industries were identified by the editorial board. The selection was based on the following criteria: business reputation of the manager and of the company and new projects.

In his address at the Top-100 ceremony Oleg Tretyakov, the editor in chief, noted: "During the selection process we paid most attention to the ability to work along the chain “authorities – society – business" and the winner of 2008 fully matches this criterion”.

Top-100 starts each spring. The candidates were nominated by market players, professional associations, NGOs, expert council and the editorial board in May-August 2008. The vote took place in August and the list of winners was published in the November issue “The Golden Issue. Top 100”.
