Aeroflot has summed up its operating results for july and seven months of 2004

In July 2004the airline company carried 746,300 passengers (including 6,900 passengers of charter flights) and 11,900 tons of post and freight. There were made 2.203 billion passenger-kilometers and 267.1mln ton-kilometers.

Operating volumes have increased according to all indicators vs. the prior year: according to passenger-kilometers – by 17.7 per cent or by 330.7 million passenger-kilometers, according to ton-kilometers – by 23.1 per cent or by 50.2 million ton-kilometers, according to carriage of passengers – by 18.7 per cent or by 117,500 passengers, according to freight carriage – by 30.7 per cent or by 2747.7 tons.

Percentage of enplaned traffic amounted to 59.6 per cent in July; this exceeds the same rate of the prior year by 1.3 per cent. Passenger seats’ occupation rate was 74.2 per cent; this equals the prior year rate.

For seven months of 2004Aeroflot carried 3.804 million passengers and 77,000 tons of post and freight; there were made 11.699 billion passenger-kilometers and 1.501 billion ton-kilometers.

Passenger seats’ occupation rate amounted to 68.7 per cent; and it exceeded the prior year level by 2.6 per cent. Percentage of enplaned traffic amounted to 57.5 per cent; it exceeded the prior year level by 3.0 per cent.

In comparison with the last year operating volumes have increased according to all indicators: according to passenger-kilometers – by 19.5 per cent (or by 1906.7 million passenger-kilometers), according to carriage of passengers – by 19.8 per cent (or by 629,600 passengers), according to ton-kilometers – by 25.3 per cent (or by 303.4 million ton-kilometers), according to freight carriage – by 30.2 per cent (17393.1 tons).

They have flown on all airline types on the whole by 18.3 per cent more than last year.

The average daily fly of hours per an average properly functioning plane amounted to 9.8 hours; this equals the ptior year level.
