| OAO Severo-Zapadnie Magistralnie Nefteprovodi (SZMN) celebrated its 55th anniversary. Over the last years SZMN, Transneft’s affiliate, became one of the major oil pipeline enterprises. It has five regional offices in the city of Almetievsk, Leninogorsk, Kazan, Perm and Izhevsk. Presently it is complex, branched and constantly developing structure operating about 6 thousand km of pipelines and moving almost 200 million tons of oil.
Environmentally safe and reliable transportation of oil is the priority directions of SZMN’s activity. This strategy is realized in the Complex program of reequipment, rehabilitation and overhaul of the main and supporting facilities.
