Chuvashenergo summarized the results of review contests

Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), summed up the results of the review contests for the best substations (35 kV and above) and 110 kV overhead power transmission lines in terms of their technical and aesthetic condition in 2017. The first prize was awarded to Alatyr 110/35/10 kV substation of Alatyrsky Production Department; Tsivilsk 110/35/10 kV substation of Severny DP and Mayak 110/10 kV substation of Yuzhny PD took the second and third places respectively.

Among 110 kV overhead power transmission lines, Katrasi — Venets line (Morgaushi — Kukshum section) of Severny PD was declared the best, Katrasi — Venets line (Kushum — Krasnye Chetai section) of Alatyrsky PD was ranked the second, and the third prize was given to Tingovatovo — Zavolzhskaya line (Tsivilsk — Orositelnaya section) of Severny PD. The contesting facilities were evaluated in accordance with a specially developed methodology that took into account multiple factors: technical condition and aesthetic appearance of the equipment and the power transformer, correctness of their installation on the foundation, absence of trees and shrubs, presence of permanent signs on a support, oil levels and oil gauges, operability of the switch heating, drive etc.

Also, one of the criteria was conformance of process facilities to the corporate style of IDGC of Volga (color painting of buildings and structures, design of information plates with the name of a substation). Power facilities were assessed by assigning scores for technical condition and appearance of each unit of equipment. Preparation for the contest was organized during the extensive maintenance campaign. It contributed to bringing the technical and aesthetic condition of substations in conformity with the requirements of the applicable regulatory documents in the course of repairs and technical maintenance. The key objective of such contests is to promote high standards of corporate culture and to improve the quality of the equipment repair and maintenance. The next stage will be announcing the contest results at the level of all branches of IDGC of Volga.
